Patricia Gormican is an outside consultant who provides assistance in the Firm's serviced areas of accounting and tax. She brings wide-ranging experience to help in addressing client problems. She has an extensive background in accounting, audit and taxation that has enabled her to look at her client's whole financial picture.
Prior to joining Gormican, PC, Ms. Gormican began her career at Deloitte & Touche LLP, specializing in external audits of mutual funds, retail, women's science, biotech and benefit plans. After thoroughly working on the audit side of the industry, she joined Walter & Shuffain, PC as a tax accountant and assisted in the preparation of state and federal tax returns for individuals, corporate, partnerships and trusts.
Ms. Gormican holds a Masters of Science in Accounting (MSA) and Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (BSBA) from Stonehill College. During her collegiate career, she worked as an intern for Wolf & Company (summer audit intern), BDO Seidman (spring tax intern) and participated in the summer externship program with Deloitte & Touche LLP. She is also a member of the Massachusetts Society of Certified Public Accountants.
