GREGORY M. GORMICAN, CPA
Greg is responsible for, and provides services in each of the Firm’s serviced areas – accounting, tax and consulting. He brings extensive background and experience to addressing and solving client problems.
Prior to starting his own firm in 1990, he had significant public accounting experience with Touche Ross & Co. (now Deloitte – an international public accounting firm); as well as, extensive industry experience in senior management positions of both public and privately held middle-market companies. In these management positions, Greg directed: operations, finance, administration, management information systems, human resources, employee and investor relations, treasury, risk management and SEC, tax and financial reporting.
Greg has been a member of a number of boards of directors and advisory boards for companies and non-profit organizations over the years. He is also a former member and Chairman of the Finance Committee for the Town of Natick, Massachusetts.
Greg is a Certified Public Accountant in Massachusetts and New Hampshire, and was a fully registered General Securities Representative. He received his MBA with High Distinction from Babson College, an MS in Taxation from Bentley College, an MS in Accounting from Northeastern University and a BA cum laude in Economics from Boston College. He is also a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Massachusetts Society of Certified Public Accountants.
Trish GORMICAN, CPA
Trish is also responsible for and provides services in each of the firm’s serviced areas – accounting, tax and consulting. She brings wide-ranging experience to help in addressing client problems.
Prior to joining Gormican PC full-time, Trish began her career at Deloitte & Touche LLP, specializing in external audits of mutual funds, retail, women’s science, biotech and benefit plans. After working on the audit side of the industry, she joined Walter & Shuffain, PC as a tax accountant and assisted in the preparation of state and federal tax returns for individuals, corporate, partnerships and trusts. In addition to her work with Gormican PC, she is a finance director for a national company.
Trish has been a member of numerous boards as well. Currently, she is the treasurer for the Moses Y Beach PTO and a board member for Holiday For Giving Wallingford. In addition, she is an active member of the Wallingford Community Women which is part of Connecticut Junior Women.
Trish is a Certified Public Accountant in Massachusetts. She received her Masters of Science in Accounting (MSA 2005) and her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Stonehill College (BSBA 2004). She is also a member of the Massachusetts Society of Certified Public Accountants.
